I was looking through my old hard drive when I found some pictures I took ages ago (3 years). You know what that means!

camarofanboy68ss nailed it with the first guess. 1966 Mustang Fastback.
It's my grandfather's car that he found after it had sat for a long time. He bought it, and it sat for a little while longer. Recently there has been a lot of engine work done, and its back on the road. Grandpa has a surfboard rack that fits on top, and he takes his girls (the car and his surfboard... Sorry, Grandma) down to the beach almost every morning. There's something to be said about living in California.

When we tried to start it...
Something went awry
But, by the end of my week long trip to California to hang out with my grandfather, we had it on the road. This was my first experience actually trying to fix a car, and with one of my favorite people. It was certainly an experience I'll never forget. Stay groovy, Grandpa.

I have a strange desire to take a Mustang like that and stuff a 3-cylinder Ecoboost in it. Just to mess with those people who think a muscle car must have 8 cylinders.
